Kochi - Alleppey - Kumarakom
Day 01/ Kochi (Cochin)
Arrive in Kochi to a hearty breakfast. After freshening up in
your plush hotel room, Head for a romantic harbor cruise in the
Arabian Sea, followed by a Kathakali performance in the evening
once you are back on dry land.
Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 02/ Kochi - Alleppey (Alappuzha)
Day Two will see you packing your bags and driving towards
Alleppey Look out the window and enjoy the spectacular natural
beauty while driving through the city. After arrival in Alleppey,
check in at the Coconut Lagoon Resort that has an ayurveda
center also. The sightseeing tour will continue with visits to
the bird sanctuary, and a cruise along the serene backwaters
either on a canoe, rice boat or a houseboat. Get a cultural
insight in the life of the people by interacting with the local
villagers who live on the banks.
Return to the hotel for the overnight stay
Day 03/ Alleppey - Kumarakom
The third day will have you floating along on a boat in the
famous Vembanad Lake that is known for its annual boat races.
Once back on dry land, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
Back at the hotel, surrender yourself to the various luxurious
facilities available at the resort.
Day 04/ Departure
On the last day, set out back towards Kochi or you can go to
Thiruvananthapuram to catch a forward flight either towards your
next south India destination or back home.
